Feast Days

Feast Days

“Seek the LORD while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near” Isaiah 55:6

The Creator of the universe gave His people several appointments, opportunities to meet with Him both on a weekly (Shabbat) and annual basis. These meetings, or “appointed times” are exactly how the Creator instructed His people to “seek Him while He may be found”. If we miss the day, we’ve missed the appointment. YHVH saw it so important for His people to walk in this Ancient Path, that He instituted 7 appointed times as perpetual (everlasting, eternal) commandments, throughout all our generations. They are meant to be protected, guarded and kept forever.

We realize through his earthly ministry and dwelling among us, Messiah fulfilled the Spring Feasts, from the Feast of Trumpets to the Feast of Shavuot (weeks). Some may ask why we still observe these days, if Messiah already fulfilled them. It is interesting to note, that the Fall Feasts have yet to be fulfilled. And Messiah said “not one jot or tittle shall pass away till all be fulfilled.” (see Matthew 5:17-19) We are excited to see how the Father will orchestrate the incredible fulfillment of the Fall Feasts commanded by YHVH, foretold by the prophets and the Messiah!
